Hi all,

This is my debut post - been looking through a few posts here and there's a lot of confusion about real and fake bansky tenners.
Here's one from a seller who's been on eBay since 2003, and he's got high ratings, not a single negative post so I'd say he's legit.
I've been informed that the blue-ish way in which Diana is shown in the picture is actually a trick of the light. He says he's got 3 remaining, which could mean that they're real as opposed to countless numbers being printed off...

Assume all are fake is your best bet. Very easy to copy/ print off and no one to tell you if they are real. Either that or get a Pest Control COA for a Banksy print... that for sure is the real deal but it is only half.

If it was me I would be leary of anyone who had more than 2 that didnt work at POW. A couple years back I asked for fake tenners on here as I didnt really care just wanted one and got like 10 pm's right away.

Lol hell no! Your point is 100% right, there are s**t loads of fakes. But in Exit he says he printed a million quids worth, hence 100,000.

Most people say that the signed ones are the Fake ones...

Rule of thumb with the Tenners (to me at least) If you want one, just buy one, do what you want with it and don't worry about if it's fake or not. If it's real, you've got a piece that has 99,999 brothers and sisters out there so the value isn't too high. If it's fake who gives a shit, no one will ever know or tell you, and you can have it for your own enjoyment.

Just don't buy them with the thought of flipping them.

I'd ask for a high quality, close-up picture of Di's face... best way to tell if it's real or not is to look at the face details closely

Yes. No expert in paper, but it feels like 220gsm paper (not sure what UK of US measure with) But in Europe it is 220 gsm paper. Which is a little thicker than 'ordinary' printer paper.

thanks.  I've tried POW, Laz, and some other routes but with no success.  I was hoping to get one from a longstanding forum member who got one in person.  I've got some goodies to offer as trade if anyone's interested
