I don't think it's really relevant. It's a nice piece that has never had this type of authentication. Obviously, with 100k plus most likely made, it's not limited in anyway and people who bought them know that. What this does, is offer piece of mind for around the same price (With Framing) as ones without a COA that could be fake without knowing.

I don't know why people on this forum have to be such dicks. You would think that everyone here was Gods gift to art.

In any case, the bill is clearly fake but why bitch at the poster for it - seems a reasonable mistake.

If I we're the original seller, I would demand a refund from the gallery - maybe they got duped too. if they did not refund I would then post their name, report the fraud to the police and charge it back on my credit card. If I did not pay by credit card I would likely file a court case (hopefully in small claims against the gallery). More than likely at that point they would probably refund. Hopefully they simply refund when they realize the mistake.

How does a gallery issue a COA on something they did not see printed. Outside of the Artist and a gallery/printer issuing a COA who witnessed the artist sign the print COAs should not be issued by anyone.


I've also always wondered, how often is pest control duped by fake signatures? IT must happen

most of the lads on here...having seen some in person..live double lives...super thugs and art experts on here...then when you actually hear them talk at galleries or see them in person..they turn out to be wankers.
