It's unstretched canvas with layers of newspaper, paint, and it's handsewn. I appreciate the kind words from you and all others.
And, in case anyone is wondering, the bottom photograph is from Michael Miller.
Happy new year everyone!

To my eyes, the framing overwhelms and dwarfs both screenprints, as opposed to complementing them.
Rather than focusing on and fully appreciating the actual images, I get distracted and instead start thinking about the frames and how large they are.

I've found that as an images gets richer in detail and craft so can the framing...

Top pickup of 2014, by pressplay on Jan 7, 2015 11:11:34 GMT 1, I'll nominate three pieces.
The most anticipated and one of the dearest in my collection. Pøbel with "In cod we trust" original on cardboard.

The one that gave me most joy. Given to me by a local artist named Joy when I inquired to buy one for my girlfriend:

The one that has most significances. Otto by Nimi (GB/NOR)

Top pickup of 2014, by pressplay on Jan 8, 2015 10:32:09 GMT 1, Interesting pieces. You have more info for Joy and Nimi? Joy is a local artist in and from Bergen which haven't gone commercial and most likely won't. I got this piece Ignorance from him as a gift when I contacted him on Facebook. My girlfriend liked this piece so I asked him if I could buy one and he replied that it was not for sale but he could give me one for free. A very cool gesture of him. The idea behind this pieces is that our generation is throwing a molotov cocktail at the coming generations in the way we treat the environment. It was sprayed on a recycling station in Bergen.

Nimi is guy from UK that's based in Bergen and work both as an artist and a spokesperson for the streetart-society in Bergen. He wants to show that Bergen has more to show for than just Dolk. This piece is a tribute to an old man walking and pushing his bike on the streets of Bergen. This man, Otto, has lived his life on the streets for many, many years and Nimi thought it was just right that Otto got his own piece. Street art giving tribute to the people of the street, it's just poetry. This is the original piece on the street, a collaboration between Argus and Nimi.

Straw man argument, but I do acknowledge those are often among the most effective.
