DOLK Release?, by dazarino on Dec 14, 2014 9:43:55 GMT 1, Wait til february and then he will drop his next print! :-) He's not done, just wait and see! Go on...... Why he doesn't do a show in the Europe or usa amazes me. Doesn't seem to work away from Norway these days and his street pieces are non existent?

DOLK Release?, by posterbob on Dec 14, 2014 11:08:28 GMT 1, 278k every 4-6 months in one day sellout of prints don't suppose they need to At £350 per print, with two prints released in editions of 300 they'd take in £210,000 but then the government would probably take at least 50% of the profit, however much that'd actually be after the cost of printing and other expenses.

The last figures were two main runs of 300 and the the two editions of 15 and two editions of 25 not counting the aps and canvases released around the same time , would bump to over 340k even halved a nice wage every 4 months , plus private commissions in between and small scale shows guess he's happy with the market as is ?

DOLK Release?, by phoj on Dec 15, 2014 15:58:55 GMT 1, Not in English Princess Buttercup. Well thats just how it is even if you dont believe it. 28%. Nope. 28% directly if he takes it out as a dividend but before that the corporation which you then implies that he owns have paid a shitload of taxes for different purposes, so the real percentage the state grabs will be much higher...

You are and will remain a real wrangler, why do you have to follow me online and comment on everything i write phoj??

No, but you have to take into consideration all the cash that disappears to taxes BEFORE you calculate pure profits. Tax on pure profit that is taken out can be as low as 28%, so that could correct, but depends greatly on how his firm is defined. And if dolk owns his own company, which he probably does, then at least 48.16 % of the surplus goes to taxes, and probably more. I did just mean to correct your mistake here, when you are wrong, someone should say so. It's really not "28% of the profit" easy, and DOLK is probably stuck with a lot less money than you think.
And I don't know why you are inviting me to check out your prints, but sure, I'll let you know.

But I will be sure to apply to you first the next time I'd like to say something.

Proof read before you post? it's Xmas , where's your joyful spirit ,getting too technical , other guys not reaaaaallly bothered ....dolk earns a nice wage and sure isn't struggling even after deductions I'm sure there's good accountants used to gain maxim advantage over the tax system ( another cost!;-) .) Better stay off the forum next week , after a few alcoholic beverages there will be loads of silly banter flying around , generally harmless unless of the sensitive disposition ?;-£
