How do you get the discount code?

I think it was a nice move for EYESAW for those who contacted him about the last drop. At £1,000 it might be a tough sale for anyone without the code which made sure those who emailed were the only ones who really had access to it before it sold out.

Yeah, because only people that email artists after missing a drop want in on the next one. Not a great way to grow your fan base when you price them out.

You don't email artists after every missed drop? I saw it as something that was more of a benefit to forum members here after seeing the large amount of interest from his last release. Many expressed a lot of interest and I was simply saying it was a nice gesture those who had interest. I don't think he intended on selling any at £1,000, just priced it at that so those with a code would have a better shot at buying and if he happened to sell one for full cost, then bonus.

It wasn't really a secret.

On page 2 of this thread Aza posted 'On his Instagram he mentioned sending him a mail about the new colourways'  Two posts later Eyesaw thanked people for their interest and said he'd reply to e-mails after 15th December.

Really don't think it was meant that way Nosnereb, I'm sure he is planning lots of new works in 2015. Best bet would be to sign up to his web page to keep in the loop.

these canvas' were always £100, just ramped them up to £1000 so the mailing list felt like it was getting a good deal.

The only reason he listed them at 1000 was because that was the only way to set up the bigcartel system to make it exclusive to those who received the code. His email was clear that these were 100 and only being made available to those who had emailed him.

Eyesaw is a very cool artist. He's not pulling a BNE...lol

These are cracking. I understand why folk were after the red but there's a few others I prefer now that I've seen them.  Fairly certain the red will end up as a print too.
