Assuming the package has the value declared, usually a week or so after it arrives in the UK, Parcelforce send the recipient a letter asking for import duty and their handling fees to be paid. After these fees have been paid the package is released for delivery/ can be collected in person from their depot.
I'm sure this piece will be worth the wait.
