Pahnl π¬π§ Birmingham Street Art β’ New Print Release , by Pahnl on Nov 1, 2009 1:32:17 GMT 1, 'On Fire Exit' at the Berlin Wall, cheers Paix
'Oh Shit' at a British army base in Afghanistan, beside the pit where they burn their bags of poo, big thanks to 85 echo:
'Two Hundred And Sixty Cans' has gone up for auction to help raise just a little bit more money for Get Dring Mobile, so if you're interested in the piece below, have a bid : )
Other than that, preorders for the 'It Started As A Joke' print are going good and other things are in the works but all in good time, eh?
...sorry for all the links, haha.

Pahnl π¬π§ Birmingham Street Art β’ New Print Release , by Pahnl on Nov 9, 2009 0:18:38 GMT 1, Cheers, kuntstrasen (I was going to shorten your name but decided against it, haha), it's interesting seeing photos of stickers around the place that I myself haven't put up.
'Hobotoast'
...because barrel cooked toast on a twig is as hobo as you can get.

Pahnl π¬π§ Birmingham Street Art β’ New Print Release , by Pahnl on Nov 9, 2009 19:18:30 GMT 1, Some trusty stencils on old, crushed cans that are already on their way to Tel Aviv for a recycle show:
'Two Hundred And Sixty Cans'
I evidently couldn't fit the entire stencil onto the can.
'Chasing Bones'
A scratched and abused bugger.
'Spray More'
Painting is good.

Pahnl π¬π§ Birmingham Street Art β’ New Print Release , by Pahnl on Nov 24, 2009 23:42:18 GMT 1, That 'Hobotoast' piece sparked my imagination (excuse the pun) and the next 'big thing' I'm working on is a light stencil animation short film around the city. Still timelining and storyboarding it but should be very excellent (yes, very excellent!) when I should have it done in a few month's time.
Cheers amigo and shame I can't make the 5th, we need to get that collab painted!

Pahnl π¬π§ Birmingham Street Art β’ New Print Release , by Pahnl on Dec 6, 2009 18:34:37 GMT 1, 'Priority Meal'
As the dog chewed his way through the day's deliveries, the postman began to think about switching jobs for the third time that week. The postman didn't really like dogs and the dogs didn't care much for the postman either..they preferred the taste of the mail.
24cm by 16cm by 6cm, cardboard box, edition of one.
I managed to procure a UPS box after a lot of effort, after getting the idea for this piece when I saw a picture of their packages online. This was a 'thinking outside the box' idea or, atleast, 'thinking around the side of the box' idea, haha.
Ignore the lack of an 'Edition of One' written on the back, it's been included now, since I forgot to write it before I took the photos. The package has been matte aerosol varnished to help protect the piece.
Available for Β£85, which includes worldwide postage, over here.

Pahnl π¬π§ Birmingham Street Art β’ New Print Release , by Pahnl on Dec 6, 2009 22:20:36 GMT 1, Haha, I can see how it'd look like a robot jaw, almost like a character from 'Wallace & Gromit'. The dog's mouth gives me troubles when I need him to be biting something but I think it works for the most part.
Cheers Optik, wish I could've been there. The pieces, from looking at Mish Mash's photos, look great but it looked a bit nippy, so I can't say I missed that

Pahnl π¬π§ Birmingham Street Art β’ New Print Release , by Pahnl on Dec 8, 2009 0:15:43 GMT 1, I'll have to make up for lost time at the next chance I get to catch up with you guys again, Mash
Thank you, happymeal, although I'll be posting it within another box to protect the artwork from being damaged or having a shipping document suddenly plastered over the front. It's still available but I'm more than happy for it to remain on my shelf, as I'm very fond of it.

Pahnl π¬π§ Birmingham Street Art β’ New Print Release , by Pahnl on Jan 8, 2010 15:53:53 GMT 1, 'The Ambush'
The dogs had to pay for the troubles they had caused and that day was today. Enough cats had assembled that day to make the trap worthwhile...
...the dogs don't come round here anymore.
Set of two 20" by 8" by 1.5", stretched canvas, edition of one.
This was an almighty bastard to photograph but I was thankful to have something easier than 'It Started As A Joke' to cut this time, haha. This is another investigation into the use of space and the two canvases are intended to be displayed as an L shape, like in the second shot.
The joy of working in the street is the space you can interact and play with, which is missing with canvas pieces but this is an attempt to capture that playfulness. As the viewer moves around the corner, the story unfolds and makes the viewer part of the narrative...
'Dog's Best Friend' (improved)
You know who your friends are...
16" by 16" by 1.5", stretched canvas, edition of one.
An updated and improved version of this, now with birds and 50% more ladder! I definitely prefer this scene painted on one canvas rather than two.
The tree has even grown since last time, which explains the longer ladder, haha
