Always liked her original paintings, but not into the prints, nice image but it wouldn't make the wall.. If I had the $$ an original of hers would take main place though in our lounge..

I find myself liking this print but, to be honest, am in the dark about all things Early.  

Is it an old print re-issued, as Laz often do?  Silkscreened?  Giclee.  The description is of 

'Archival pigment print with silkscreen gloss on Somerset Satin 330gsm paper'

I understand the paper thing

Archival pigment print = giclee. The print is from the original that was on display at her show "Suspended" earlier this year. So it's a "new" print. "Silkscreen gloss" I guess is what it says - gloss silkscreened over the print to give it that glossy look, as opposed to "spot varnish" where they apply the gloss on parts only of the print for effect/contrast.

As for her work, I very much like her style and use of colours. In particular the new print was for me the stand out image from the show. Like lots of her images - I guess it's open to interpretation. One is left undecided as to whether the character is being lifted up by the balloons or being sucked down by whatever lurks beneath. Hope or despair? In this case the title just might or might not explain it. My thoughts only

Archival pigment / giclee just garnished wording for digital print. Sounds more effective than Hewlett Packard .

I like that Chloe Early print as well - it's lovely - but I'm not really fond of giclees.

Relatedly, I really like Connor Harrington's "The Killer Inside". Laz describes it as a "two-color photopolymer etching on Hahnemuhle 300gsm paper". Is this also a giclee?
