Tajan Auctions π«π· Paris, by Matt on Nov 8, 2018 7:37:39 GMT 1, Is there a reason the mosaic book cover got so much? Was it special in any way? 25k euro, seems to be the price of a small original Alias.
Pretty much what was expected I think
You can get a very small Alias for that price, just about, and this is a semi iconic cover (certainly one of the good ones from the Paris series) in perfect condition with case and box

Ah ok. I was hearing that people expected the new Los Angeles mosaic covers to be around 15k so I was surprised to see this go for so much.

I think 15k US is a fair assumption based on previous editions, the difficulty is getting your hands on one as these are massively oversubscribed
This can partly explain demand on secondary

this means they are cheaper than HK and Ravenna which doesn't make a lot of sense

Last time I worked with them,it took them months to certify my piece, until they have a proper confirmation in order to sell it. Quite far from your comment.

I'm not gonna justify, they must work honestly and professionally most of the time. But them bad reputation is all over the French market no doubt about it

Tajan Auctions π«π· Paris, by esfer on Oct 11, 2020 9:13:54 GMT 1, There are some really early Seen pieces in this auction. Rare and unusual designs by him.
One called "Skull" which doesn't feature a single skull, perhaps Skeleton would have been a better title?
And we cannot miss "One eyed worm"!
Okay..not Seen's best pieces, but interesting pieces none the less!
