Banksy.co.uk • Official Banksy Website , by Black Apple Art on Nov 13, 2015 18:16:25 GMT 1, Thx, i think they've added significantly more old shots of work in the streets including a bunch of old photos and some of works that aren't even his. Possible that they were up there previously and I forgot. Lots of rats which is nice. I like the before and after geisha showing how he took time to spray in the boxes of that bridge. Yes, great selection of outside pics and another reminder of what an incredible body of work he has.

Pretty sure it's clay. There appear to be blobs of excess clay on the base.

Didn't Banksy say in an interview ages ago that he was going to take up pottery or some clay classes or something?

Banksy.co.uk • Official Banksy Website , by Dr Plip on Jan 18, 2016 10:45:00 GMT 1, The thing that I find really interesting (....zzzzzzzz) about this picture is that someone took the time and effort to sculpt the shoeshine boy. The BOTI piece had a live action shoeshine person. So either they decided later on to do away with the model boy, or maybe as Coach has said, perhaps this is for a small bronze? For that, they'd need a sculpt of the boy, as you can't get tiny people. And if you could, you wouldn't be allowed to own them.
#Speculation

Looks more like a shoeshine monkey (or some other animal) than a shoeshine boy.

I always thought that the Moco Museum in Amsterdam was a collaboration between Banksy and the museum owners.

No, 100% not. If it's anything to do with Banksy it will be posted on either Banksys, fragilefragile or Jo Brooks Instagram
