I always loved this image and just assumed it was an instant sell out the day it was launched.

I purchased "Release" on wood 1/2 by Grafter and it arrived safely in NY last night.
Over The Moon Happy to say the least. Tons of varnish and depth.
This is what make stencil art so appealing to many of us - simplistic art mixed with a powerful message

I'd say it's the subject matter. It's a very nice image, but it's not something I personally would buy. If I had kids, I'd probably snap one up to put in their room.

Of the releases that he emailed this week that was one I would definitely have pulled the trigger on. Got a few of Grafters works and always found him a top bloke to deal with and as mentioned by others on here surprised he has taken off as I thought he would after Splash. Hopefully after a couple of years of weak images he seems to be coming back with some good work and his time will come.
