Following the recent destruction of Rage Against the Machine, an independent and unauthorised street project in 2016, Ernest presents a printed adaptation of the original work.


The original production came to life over a weekend with half a school bus, a flat bed truck and a group of friends. The production mobilised to coincide with a BERSIH peaceful protest against corruption in electoral voting. The intent was to create a work on the protest path in Kuala Lumpur, one of the last heritage locations.

Despite the physical relationship of the work and the issue in Malaysia, Rage against the Machine points more broadly to a global wave of social consciousness. To mirror these ideas, the launch will be via a timed release with the promise of free shipping anywhere in the world for each sold.



Rage Against the Machine will be available as a 48 hour timed release from noon GMT on Friday 2nd November 2018 through to noon GMT on Sunday 4th November 2018 and can be purchased via the website

Obviously not style wise but content wise it reminds me of a Roamcouch print.

From memory weren't the Roamcouch / Penny collab prints something similar.

I really like this one. With two toddlers my wife and I are always discussing school which I am very against the traditional, brainwashing, model. Unfortunately not many alternatives, can only hope we teach and encourage him along the way. For example, hoping to take them for a year abroad when both in high school to travel and study.

EZ stuff not always my favorite but I like this one. Only thing is, is the edition size literally unlimited? I never know what a “timed release” is as it seem to change with every artist.

The artwork is good and on seeing it, my first thought was, the Saudi attack on the school bus in Yemen. Even though that was not the intention of the artist.
