Bisser π§πͺ Belgium Street Art β’ Print Release News, by Wilson on Apr 23, 2015 13:39:09 GMT 1, Anyway, if that's what you meant fair enough. There weren't many of the werewolf prints available on Ebay, three I think. Generally, 10% judging by his first 2 releases make it there.
That leaves 90% between speculators and us folk who have them adorning walls.

Sorry about that, When I reference Bubble I inferred that it is usually the speculators or those manipulating the market that create them as most bubbles are creating from these types. The Forum is filled with Both those that Love art and Those that Flip/Invest/Speculate. When I say forum effect I am referencing based that outside this forum I and I am sure not many people are familiar with some of the hot artists that are traded or flipped in here at times. This forum has opened my eyes to a whole new market that is a world in itself at times in here. I never heard of Bisser till this thread in the past weeks, and Its my job to watch art all day and I pride myself on being as up to date as possible. So it was a suprise.

Bisser π§πͺ Belgium Street Art β’ Print Release News, by Invaded 420 on Apr 23, 2015 13:51:25 GMT 1, I heard someone say yesterday about how he's grown since he appeared here a year ago. Well he's been in the uk seen for a year previous to that. With an awesome following. Just not mentioned much on the forum. We got our first bisser bits from artshow one in shoreditch 2 years ago which was his and kunstrasens first uk show I believe. Bisser did live painting aswell. Got some pics somewhere. Very well deserved recognition. Proud to say I been a big fan for nearly 3 years now.

True that, was his first appearance in the UK back then...I was aware of him a while before that and got that Jamie guy to make sure he'd join us for the show. Things have really kicked off for him since with a constantly growing fellowship and a good development of his work. Personally like his style, not sure if some sort of forum bubble makes his works sell out...

Did you try and get one Soam? It was a nightmare. Picture yourself in the queue at Tesco and just about to pay and finding nothing in your basket only to do the same again. Manic is the best description. At least bigcartel says there's no stock and doesn't let you get you all excited about going through the checkout before saying "inventory issues" or whatever it said. Brilliant print, great folk at UTBNYC but nasty system.

Bisser π§πͺ Belgium Street Art β’ Print Release News, by BKBOI on Apr 23, 2015 14:21:39 GMT 1, I have to agree with 886. The print would probably have sat there for a while if someone didn't think they might profit from this release.
I mean I could name one established artist like Logan Hicks who probably won't sell prints with the same size and price for under 5 sec.

While I understand where you're coming from, judging an artists talent or fan base off a 5 page thread in a forum, on my side, for the 3 years we have been doing this, I have never seen such a response to an artist before.
Granted the flipping mentality will follow basically any in demand artist but the amount of people that wanted this piece for their own collection far out weighs the ones who do it for profit.
And no offense sir but if it's your job to be watching art all day, you might have missed the last release thread that showed the demand for the artist on his first print. Mind you..first print. No flipping history. Just people liking his art for what it was.
Bisser is I think 23 or 24 and just about to graduate. He hasn't had the opportunity yet to be a part of the festival scene like the usual people we see but he will soon and then you'll see a lot more from him. And for myself to hopefully be a part of the evolution, I really couldn't be more excited to be a part of it.

Bisser π§πͺ Belgium Street Art β’ Print Release News, by Happy Shopper on Apr 23, 2015 16:18:54 GMT 1, It's hard to believe that this artist's prints can sell out in seconds, while Blu's prints sit on POW... Buzz (and hype), count for a lot around here.
Not to say Bisser isn't good... he is... but is this print that great??

Bisser π§πͺ Belgium Street Art β’ Print Release News, by sparky999 on Apr 23, 2015 16:30:58 GMT 1, It's his second best print imo the best is the one I don't have from Wanderlust!
A growing number of people really like his work, I see signs of a Phlegm like talent developing over the next few years and I think one day these releases may be as hard to find as Battle/Point and Measure/Stilt etc. If I turn out to be wrong then I've got something I like to look at in the mean time.
So I guess I'm speculating with something I like to look at - pretty much like my entire art collection to be honest.

Im pretty sure 866geary gallery would love if buzz and hype applied to every artist that showed there (not saying it doesnt just saying its a nice addition to have to any artist).
And I honestly love this print. We have put out some things where I was partial too but this print is gorgeous in person.

Bisser π§πͺ Belgium Street Art β’ Print Release News, by Invaded 420 on Apr 23, 2015 18:36:13 GMT 1, Ill just say one more thing on the situation. Bissers last print, the one released in Belgium sold out fast also. And it only got shown on here after the sale of the prints. Sure this forum has/is helping bisser but he's got a good following without the forum for sure. No hype, genuine fans. Just a shame that now he's been shown on here flippers start buying his work and reselling. Obviously inevitable with such talent as its clear he's gonna go far Like kunstrasen said, he knew about him way before the artshow one. Maybe your the one to thank phil for getting Jamie to get him involved with you guys at the show.
