I had to do terrible things to earn the cash to buy those ear extensions.

Any chance you could make up for your earlier dereliction of duty and lend me some money for a nose job as I don't want to go back to doing "favours" for the Clangers. You don't want to know how they got their name.

They told me about it, i dismissed it at first due to the fact i couldnt quite understand what they were talking about as i "No speaky Clanger" as i said to them, as the weeks went by i began to catch the odd whoop and Drone until i picked up enough of the lingo to understand them a little, i managed to hear about you in the show there and your friendship with them but i hear you were paid well for your favours? i mean a ten bob note was worth quite a bit then and there was a water shortage on!.
In a word, no, you have made your own bed so now you must lie in it, Clangers never forget as you will find out when the book comes out and dont even mention the holiday with the Wombles.
