yeah - a nice piece of old school graff and gold always works in my book. Think I prefer the lettering on the Leyla part though both work well. Anyone know what's happened to Cept's website - www.spradio.com/ - used to be pretty comprehensive but these days looks like a shadow of its former self (though love the quote on the front page)!

I really like Cept, surprised there is not much more about him on this forum. I can only assume the site isn't kept up to date as he's on Stella Dore now? That's purely a guess.

I saw them Friday night and they had been tagged a little but still looked good, that area always has fresh stuff though so wont last long.

I bought a "Super Villain" a while ago... Really nice big screen print. Very much a hand pulled operation (With marks and ink splats... But it adds to the charm) Good price and Cept is a true graff legend!

Oh bummer, I was putting this off and off as I thought I would just get hounded (around the time of all the scalpers talk warming up recently) so ta for posting.

Cept is the absolute nuts! Known of his stuff for donkeys years as its everywhere in Hackney/Shoreditch, thought for ages last year when finding more and more styles of stuff that he was part of a collective or summink (as in Cept being the group of people, he is part of TRP - The Rat Pack which at one time I believe also consisted of Snoe and Kid Acne) no amount of web searches proved joyous for Cept.

He used to do loads of stuff with Eine, placement of huge letters being their collective thang.....





Placement and simplicity are just stunning and what appeal to me, I know most people just think "huh, bloody letters, whats the point"

But the varying styles was the bit that confused me as to who they/he/she was...







Then really just added as many of the pieces that I found to my Flickr account, before too long, I started to be fairly near the top of successful matches for Cept on Google!! ;D

So anyways, via Flickr I got sent a message saying "Cept prints now available" and the link to www.spradio.com - was so pleased it wasn't funny!! Am glad cos I wasn't sure how most of his stuff would translate to print, but have not been disappointed so far, it's bloody amazing!! I have Saintly and A Thousand Pictures so far, but hopefully picking up this canvas from him very soon.



And the soaking in shouldn't take long hopefully, a huge catalogue of work that he is working his nuts off to produce, he's overseeing pretty much the entire process himself with the printer, and a real top bloke to deal with too.

Phew, there you go, got it out of my system. I think everyone knows how mad I am about Cept now!

All prints are £50, most being editions of 20. Then ones that are on the silver or gold paper are £60 and editions of 5. Consider snapping up "A Thousand Words" as I think thats a well underated piece, lovely in the flesh though and I think it will be one of his stand outs in the future.

Sorry, yes Accrylic background ones are all effectively 1/1 as they all look different entirely really at £85. And yes silvery ones are £80, edition of 5, but again the mix of inks is different on each. All signed as well.

For canvases, click on the "private" tab on the website, am pretty sure at least some of the canvases are for sale (not updated yet to reflect anything thats sold) all differing sizes/prices so best to contact via the site for that, usually always quick at replying.

Not sure about any exhibitions in the pipeline, there is a promise of the site being overhauled/updated some time soon when new prints go up - I'll keep you posted if I hear anything.
