Eine / DFace - DFaced New York Sauce print release, by Agent Provocateur on Aug 4, 2013 11:32:11 GMT 1, I might play devils advocate here, but because the print's in conjunction with Wooster Collective's 10 year anniversary celebrations, I don't think using two major artists and their iconic styles is totally out of place.
Yep, it might seem a slightly simple/quick/lazy even collaboration, but because the anniversary is looking back at the past ten years, combining two of the most recognisable motifs from street art of that period does have some merits.
Simple, effective and iconic. Think of the print in 10, 20, 30 years time, it will represent a certain period of street art.
Having said all that, I totally agree with what someone said earlier in the thread... why two British street artists, it would have been much more pertinent for Wooster to have chosen two US/NY artists. I'd have loved to have seen a Faile and Bast collaboration.
Would be interested to hear peoples views on that angle... crash helmet at the ready!

The Eine is regular and Ds print was transparent so you could frame it with some space between them. Then you could actually see that it says sauce.
Now ^^ this would have been something else entirely - quite possibly one of the best colabs ever

As a commemorative print if it was around $250 I think that would sat better in the context.

Colossal media did this and he is over there touching it up. Cheekily timed with the 10 year thing to make it look like this is part of it. Nothing wrong with being paid to do an ad, but dont think this is a new piece or anything for the love of art.
