Hello forum, just wanted to let everyone know that I'm releasing a new image tomorrow evening. First I wasn't so sure about this specific image but it grew on me...at the very least it is questioning my own artwork which is a good thing I guess.

There will be 5 different colour ways available with an edition of 10 each. Further infos below the image...

"This Is Art"
Spray paint on canvas
22 x 33 cm (8.5 x 13 inch)
Signed and numbered on reverse.
Priced at £18 each +shipping costs.

Available @kunstrasen.co.uk tomorrow at around 8 pm GMT.

Really hope that a few people on here like it and if not then I apologize for any inconvenience...

I still love his "Fighting The Blank Canvas". Never got to purchase it, but absolutly loved the idea.
£18 for a canvas is as close to free art as you get.
Great that someone makes canvas avalable for those with extremly low funds

WOW! Never ever expected to sell that many of these in such a short time...thanks so much for your support through buying! Almost completely sold out now. Special thanks as well for the posts on this thread making it all a bit more lively around the release.

In my opinion I'm not giving these away for free but definitely hope to provide good value for money...so thanks for the positive comments on my pricing.

About to start packing and I hope I get them out within the next 2 - 3 days. Since I'm honestly surprised by the amount of pieces sold it will be a bit tight to get it all sorted...I have been invited to my first proper holiday in a decade a couple of days ago and only a few days left till they start...so there will be nothing special about the packing this time (sorry grahamh) due to the lack of time but it'll be as solid as usual.

The quality of the 2 canvases i own of your work Phil are both top notch. You can see they are made with due care and attention and more importantly a real love of stencill art. Keep 'em coming! i'm now on an art buying embargo for a while sadly but can get away with buying a few cheaper pieces here & there. Just trying to work out where i'll put the latest Kunstrasen addition in the new place, could be a good bathroom piece with that splash of colour

Though i agree in principal with your point and also agree that this canvas is a very affordable price and i also quite like it, i have to disagree with your theory on the 'as near to free art as you can get' bit, it isnt, as near to free art as you can get is infact one penny, any more expensive renders a gap lower in value for 'one penny' to sneak in, if its two pennies then its quite cheap but someone can come along and charge one penny so that is nearer to free art than two pennies, do you see?.

I see your point, but dont agree. What you present is a teori, not reality.
So if you see someone who sell original art for 1 penny, ill eat a printout of this thread
