I have a few Banksy and one Jamie Hewlett print that I am looking to sell, They were bought originally from TomTom (now Art Republic London). I do not have Pest Control COA's but Gary Mitchell who took over TomTom from Tommy Roberts (I used to deliver sold art for him as I was a courier at the time) did print out TomTom COA's for each. The prints are all in handmade frames in black wood (except The Hick and Have a nice day which are in black metal) done by the lovely Bronwyn at ISL framers in N1. They are "The Hick" Jamie Hewlett 418/750, the Banksy's are; Have a nice day 330/500, Pulp Fiction 59/600, Love is in the air 480/500 and Happy Choppers 209/750. All unsigned. I also have the three little black books ; Existencilism, Cut it out and Banging your head against a brick wall, I have a Di faced ยฃ10, a postcard with multiple images of the queen wearing a gas mask with the text "Weapons Of Mass Distraction" and lastly various stickers, a round "Neighbourhood Watch" with pigs, A large "Authorised Graffiti Area", 2 x Love is in the air design with the text "Keep left", "Americans Working Overhead" and a small "Graffiti Artists Must Report To Reception Before Starting Work". I will take some photos of all the above later today and post them up. I have had a horrendous tax bill and need to scrape enough money together to pay it otherwise I would not be selling anything! Also I know that Pest Control COA's seem to be almost mandatory these days but from what I have read on this forum that can take months and I don't have a luxury of that time, Also from reading this forum it seems that when someone says they have something for sale if a buyer says he'll buy it they get upset if it is not sold to them immediately. Because of my position I need to raise the maximum amount of cash possible so I'll be straight and say I sent an email to Art Republic this morning asking if they are interested. Also I live in London and don't wish to post the prints so collection is the only option. I hope I have got enough information down for now and hope I have not broken any "rules" for etiquette in posting on this forum.

As far as i'm aware if you send lots and lots of pics to PC along with the numbers etc, they should do the COA's fairly quickly.....
Unfortunately recently there have been problems with people getting shafted with damaged prints, and fake prints. I for one switched off as soon as i read you weren't going to get PC COA's as would never buy a print without one anymore. Too many people out there ready to stick one up you, not enough good guys anymore.

Thank you for your reply, I will take a brace of photos today and post them here and send them to Pest Control to see what they say, as I said I am in a dire financial situation and hoped that I could get a good price for them with out shelling out ยฃ250 to get them all official COA's. As for the stickers, and the books that is not going to be possible but I presume the scumbags of the world don't copy those?

Anyone buying needs to take into account theres no COA and make their own call. As i've said, i wouldn't buy without a coa.

Unfortunately the way the banksy market has gone has meant alot of people get done with fakes, or damaged prints. I think offering people the chance to inspect is a good thing, and also applying for COA's is a must IMO. To remove them will require removing the tape from the back of the frames then removing the window mounts, as I did not frame them I'm not sure how easy that will be and how easy it will be to put them back (the frames were done by a proffesional framer who did all the framing for TomTom so I am sure they were stuck in the appropiate way) Lastly I uploaded photos of everything to Imageshack but am still unable to upload them here (call me blonde!), I don't know if you all can view them directly on Imageshack? If you can my name there is the same as it is here...RedElva

I found I had one fake and one that is possibly backdoor and unlikely to get a coa for. Both cost a fair amount of money and finding you have been stung isn't "fun". I also found one had been dry mounted and others with lots of tape.
You have some really desirable prints there, good luck with the sale, but be conscious that without coa's you will limit your audience and likely sales prices
