Etam Cru π΅π± Sainer & Bezt β’ Street Art β’ Print Release , by Deleted on Mar 21, 2020 19:26:22 GMT 1, Not to be a buzz kill, I like these images a lot, but doesnβt 750 euro for a computer printout seem like a lot? Does anybody care how prints are made anymore or it just doesnβt matter?

Of course that's taken into consideration before purchase, but when it's the only option of getting one, I guess you just weigh it up. I was happy to get them. A little pricey I'll admit, but I was hoping he was going to release prints from his new colour studies, which he did. I'm pleased to have been able to support him and look forward to what else comes in time. I think in time, these will look like a steal. Either way, once the drama of coronavirus calms down, Mother will be getting framed and hung in the prime spot on the wall π

Etam Cru π΅π± Sainer & Bezt β’ Street Art β’ Print Release , by acaipride on Jul 29, 2020 3:59:14 GMT 1, i think Sainer is one of the top muralists out there, him and Inti have the repertoire most wish they had in their portfolio. "sleeping giants" if i may. i can't recall where i saw a sketch book other than his ig today, but it's out there, i ran across it on my search for his final frontier print.

Etam Cru π΅π± Sainer & Bezt β’ Street Art β’ Print Release , by GMA on Jul 29, 2020 13:50:03 GMT 1, Thanks, I'm really happy with how it has come out, it really was a nightmare taking it to the framers. As soon as the tube arrived, I took it out and left it laying flat, I wasn't planning on rolling it again to take down there. Then covid hit, everything locked down big time and I had this huge print waiting to be taken in.
When I eventually got to take it to the framers I had to fold the back seats down in the car, put some big boards in the back and sit this on the boards wrapped in tissue paper. I secured it down but it was a worrying trip.
Then there was the situation of having to order a huge sheet of glass from an outside company and foamex backboard because the frame wouldn't be strong enough to hold anything else. Ideally, I'd have had anti reflective glass, but it was additional costs. One day if I want, I can swap the glass out, keep this one and cut the glass into smaller sections for other prints so not all is lost in that respect.
At the time of purchase I knew it would be trouble framing and storing, but I couldn't resist. Very happy to have it, and now it's up on the wall (it pretty much is THE wall!) , it's great displaying it.

I haven't even mentioned the 2 hours I spent drilling holes into the wall with wall plugs and 3 screws in order to hold it up haha. I say "never again" ... but if he brings out more, which I suspect he will at some point, I'm sure I'll bite again.
Apparently Sainer was shocked when he saw the size of the print when they were being made. I wonder if this might end up being the only edition at that size, or if he would continue to release more at this scale. You could probably fit 8 Copacabana's in this.
