I got wait listed for works from this show, rare occasion where not being one of the gallery's chosen ones has actually paid off. Sorry, but these are bricks. Even Pejac prints move for more, and we're talking about a decent painting here.

Why don’t Sainer and Betz have more art dealers carrying there prints/paintings? I feel like they don’t have the recognition they should and wondering if there is a reason for this? I would pay as**tload for the prints I stupidly sold when in debt (other side, last king, backyard kingdom, sweet dreams, moonshine) but nobody even has them as artist they purchase to resell! Would give thousands to be able to have these in my collection again but the only place to find them is here when someone is tired of the print!

I have privilege to be both Sainer and Bezt friend. Lucky to be in position too have all theirs prints and a few canvases, but as a fan I am keeping them for private collection, not for sale.
I allow to keep the Forum updated about upcoming projects with Sainer and Bezt.

No coa and after Comparing the signatures they are off in tiny details. On mine the 2013, basically looks like Z013. Be careful!

Not suggesting your print is or isn’t a fake, although my guess is that it’s unlikely a fake due to its semi-modest value, but thought you may be interested in knowing that COA’s were not issued with this print. If you’re wondering how do I know? I know because I produced the print for Art Whino (hired a graphic designer to clean up the image, hired the printer, and had them hand delivered to S & B for numbering and signing in Miami as they were there for Basel 2014). It’s a lovely print that I will never part with, but I actually have a larger 18 x 24 test print framed and hanging in my home as I thought the release should have been a larger dimension to match the epic nature of the mural. I hope your print is real.

Agree with you about the likelihood of counterfeiting something with a relatively low value and appeal.

However it's interesting that one of these Moonshine prints on eBay comes with a COA allegedly from Art Whino. Unless you could request one at the point of sale.

Interesting. Curious as to where you are as I am searching eBay “Etam Cru” and don’t see any listings for Moonshine. Lots of prints but no moonshine in my search results in the US. I even have include international selected and don’t see any. Just wanted to check the posts to check them out but none listed that I can tell.

Let me double check with Shane (Art Whino owner) to see if they issued any COA’s. I know I didn’t get one but I may have misspoke about there not being any as his gallery staff took care of shipping after they were returned to DC after signing in Miami.

I was thinking that maybe someone could have gotten ahold of one of the test prints and forged signature and edition number but they is highly unlikely as I had delivered all but one of the test prints, which is on my wall, to S & B in LA during their ThinkSpace show.

Hi guys i cant find the prints on ebay U are talking about. But i confim - aint no COA were issued. All official edition was signed by Etam BUT...

After the signed prints were sold out the publisher starded selling open unsigned edition without artists knowlegde and permision. Its a huge shame.
I appreciate OP for sending me a photo or link print for the exact print you are talking here .

I'm searching Etam Cru Moonshine on the completed listings on UK eBay. There's a print that ended unsold at a starting price of £300 on the 28th January. The sellers name is davex32. If you look on the listing, one of the pictures is of the alleged Art Whino COA.

Okey, so I have confirmed answer for U all.
The signature is to belive to be Sainers.
Although the certificate has never been seen by the artists themselves and its suspicious to not be signed !

i have the signed print at home, i think it might have a COA but not sure (i bought direct from source). will report back.

FWIW i remember the "2" in "2013" looking like a "Z" in the signed version.

I talked to Shane (Art Whino owner) and he confirmed that no COA’s were issued and he thinks he remembers Betz doing the actual signing “ETAM” and date/number.
