Fail to see the hypocrisy you mention but as you see fit to attempt to pick the bones out of it then I'll elaborate:

1. I had to sell pretty much everything I owned last year as my house flooded with other peoples piss and shit and I got knocked by the insurers. Not nice.
2. The mighty mo went to trevorm at a loss to me but it was beautifully framed and had sat in my Daughter's room for a couple of years. She now has a Tilt Peach (framed).
3. The Borf has sold after being framed and on the wall for a couple of years now. We've enjoyed this print, on the wall.
4. I was the original buyer of the Shep in 2007 and sold it on the basis that if the buyer ever sold it, then I'd get first refusal. In the end I bought it back in ? 2010 then changed my mind maybe a year later?

There is no comparable between my history and your actions here, you're shamelessly trying to gain as much change out of this as you can. If I've made a mistake, then please excuse me. As you've articulated above I am a little 'slow' so I hope everyone can forgive me for this.......

Three observations, ignore them if you like.
First, chill out people maybe. Both of you are good contributers to this forum.
Second, freerange, do you really need to get involved and try to increase tensions? 
Finally, I can confirm that Afr1ka passed his code for the last faile release on to me rather than buy the print to flip.

So at last you've put a price on your Dolk, 70% above cost, wasn't that tricky was it?

I'm pleased to say that since last year my situation's changed and I'm back on my feet and am more than happy to give the profit I made on the Dolk to a charity of your choice (my preference would be UNICEF) providing you do the same.

Yes agreed. I got involved in an argument with someone on this forum a few weeks ago. He's a trouble maker and now posts under one of his different usernames but I feel that I let myself down coming down to his level and regret some of the things I said.

dont we all make and lose at time.. With the addition of certain forum members who buy things to sell on to other forum members at cost ( one such I have benefitted by - not by selling on.. But by looking at every day?)

Not to mention, it seems that Lurkerstud/Vera Lynn can't follow the rules.
One he seems to break often.
(He's brought this kind of negativity to more than one of my sale/trade threads.)
Silky has made it very clear:
Rule No #7. Don't hassle or abuse other members if you don't agree with their price. If you don't like it, don't buy it! and just leave the thread alone.

The thing that saddens me most is not the flipping, which we probably all have done once at least anyhow.  It is the fact that a thread like this gets more attention than others and there are some great sales threads out there. Why not comment on the great stuff out there? Why not contribute to this forum in a positive way? Isn't complaining about flipping a weird compensation for the injustice experienced every day in our society?

Why would AFR1KA sell this for cost when a market value has already been set? If he sold it for cost, the member he sold it to would only and up selling it for a tidy profit eventually, if not immediately. Plenty of sharks on here. I'm sure if a real life friend or someone he trusted wanted it then he would cut them a deal below market value, if not at cost.

I applaud the sentiment behind this but the number of posts doesn't necessarily corrolate to the quality of posts (or quality of individual), myself being a decent example of this thought process.

I'd hate you to sell this (generously) to someone who posts regularly but you don't know just to see them sell it on and profiting from your gesture a few months down the track......
