what? I don't get it? Is this a mock on the gellery scene? if so, why do it through a gallery, huh? I hope I am just missing something here. Maybe someone with a better background in art or collecting can ellaborate for me? Not being rude just intrigued

To me it isn't about making money. Yes, I have to sell art to pay the bills. But, when I book an artist, I don't give the boundaries. I offer my space and say "do what you would like."

This is the show that Borf wanted to do. There are a couple of reasons why he did a show like this.
I will explain one of them:
Borf was busted for graffiti and is on probation. He hasn't been able to do what he loves for 3 years now "graffiti". He wouldn't have done a show like this if he was able to be out on the streets, creating. To him, art is dead. I'm sure this will change in 4 months, when he is off probation. But for now this is his outlook on art. all he knows is the back of canvases he hasn't been able to create what he has wanted to.

Believe me, when he hits the streets again, it is going to be amazing. Everyone accross the pond is lucky, i'm pretty sure that is his first target.

People have mixed feelings about the show and the paintings. Which I am very happy about, I enjoy reading/hearing the reactions to this show, being good or bad. It gets people thinking!!

So he is expressing his oppression and feeling of being constrained by putting on a show in a limiting environment that constrains and restricts his creativeness when he would rather be putting his art somewhere else?

but certainly one of them

andenken has / had some originals but I think that gallerys changed hands ?
They also had a hand finished print

that current papermonster print is hand finished by the way with all text hand written

I also know of a few orignals that were being sold by a charity a while back

i bought BORF's 'tired of being pushed around" print last year as a rite of passage gift for a sibling who is graduating from high school - can't wait to give it to him on graduation day
