Hi guys, 

I have a Borf Rothko Modern Life (Seven) for sale

2013 edition of 75

£325

I am unsure how to put photos on here so haven't uploaded one but its the orange one haha. I managed to do it once but can't remember how I did it. 

I bought it recently and did plan to put it up but due to other circumstances I need to sell it.

I think it works better on canvas.

It's a great idea doing it on shutters, but I don't think the colours balance very well on this one. To my eye the pink section should have been bigger.
But then again he is the artist!

Also I wonder if he did the pieces underneath, or is going to get into some beef with the local taggers

I agree, and also on paper. There was a cracking piece on paper, up for sale on here recently. It's something about the lines on the shutter that doesn't quite work for me.

Yes he would have done the whole thing from scratch... that is very much the emphasis behind his Modern Life series.

I heartily recommend looking into the process that goes into one of these pieces - it will shed a new light and context on the final aesthetic. 

IMO the 'shutter' is the perfect medium for this piece, conceptually speaking. (That is not to take away anything from the canvas pieces.)

Must say this is the first Rothko street piece I have seen would be interested to see others if any one has seen or has any. Seen his Borf tags before but not the Rothko pieces
