Afternoon all..

Finished putting a mosaic of pics on my wall.. and as much as i tried and tried - laying what I'd got out on the floor in many different ways, layouts, I have ended up with a damn annoying gap in the square of pics.. Everything is lined up square, symetrical and perfect... except..

I have currently filled it with a couple of Sinclairs I have in a frame.. but It ruins the whole effect..and looks rediculous!!.. and am hoping that some one on here can come up with a suggestion of what to fill it with ( keep them clean please!!).. I have wracked my brains but just cant find anything..

The gap size to fill is 70cm wide by 25cm tall.. this could be one, two or three prints framed.. I use black square box frames as you can see.. the size would include the frame..

Any suggestions / ideas welcome to keep in the theme of the project..its really doing my head in as it is and totally spoils what I set out to do..

what about the Tiny showcase release ,. Josh keyes , you could get maybe 3 in there? might just be 2 though.

or some of the brooklynite snubnose prints, set of soup cans?

Move the speccy bits to the left a bit? Or maybe a Penny note would fit in there.

That's the gap I was looking at! but then I noticed the dimensions he requested. Graham, what gap are you talking about? Do you mean you want to replace the speccy bits?

Sorry.. didnt make myself clear.. was to replace the speccy totally.. the frame around it is to deep so ' sticks out' from the wall to far to match the other frames..

p.s. I have thought about 3 penny's in frames.. but a bit like rocking horse s***.. and at the height, fear the detail will get lost and not seen!!

I had the speccy in the middle centred to start with.. but I wanted the 4 sides of the whole mosaic to be straight.. so it then annoyed me that there was a gap in the side of the whole mosaic if that makes sense..

Thought of that.. but wondered what else anyone else had in mind.. isnt a case of just making do.. more a hope that something I had never even thought of or seen pops up and just fits the bill..and is to my taste!!

All else fails, then plan B commision it will need to be!

Just my opinion but I think you have too much work on the wall. It might be a better choice to just rotate work rather than pack it in. I'd start with that RAE front and center and work off that;)

How about 3 penny notes in one frame. Not a cheap solution, but i think the size should be about right.
