A.CE π¬π§ London Street Artist β’ Print Release , by Graffiti Prints on Apr 13, 2013 11:30:32 GMT 1, A.CE is a London based artist. He has been an active part of the UK street art scene for over 10 years. In that time his wheat-pasted images have featured prominently across the urban landscape. Born in London in 1980, A.CE's works act as an outlet for the wide and varied influences that have inspired him throughout his life, drawing in part from Dada collage and classic pop art to his time as a skateboarder and the bold graphics and artworks he encountered during this time. His work is a raw presentation of nostalgic imagery blended with contemporary fragments, resulting in ambiguities and incongruities that reflect the absurdities of popular culture and a consumer driven society.

this is a age old argument being original in art, e.g - is dolk or any stencil artist original after banksy and so on and so on?
if we like the image and what the artist is doing thats enough for us as every artist we see has taken influence from somewhere or could be compared to someone....

A.CE is not new to printing a black and white version came out at stolenspace a few years ago and he has featured in many of there shows as well as lots of others, im sure most people have heard of A.CE here?

If it was anywhere else they would be done for passing off or plagiarism It's not a hobby - it's a bizness they are a gallery This sort of work should be ignored and more space for galleries to show talent rather than regurgitation
all i can say is we liked them and i have several bast works and have no issue with A.CE's work, we can not please everyone i know that but i think you comments are very harsh on A.CE.

i did not mention hobby i think it was otto who was referring to collecting art. we are fine with you not liking it as i said i know i can not please everyone.
this place represents art we like or dislike always has and probably always will.
we do take representing artists seriously though and want to produce the best product possible for anyone who works with us its not a hobby more a labour of love that grew out of a hobby.
i have two very talented french graffiti artist who i think are very different coming soon yet i did not approach the printing process or promo any differently art is art.

Time to get rid and I have something coming that I have waited along time for - that will be the last art I buy to keep - might do some flipping ( controversial ) But it's all over for me, bit bored of it all.
