Visit ROME 🇮🇹 Italy Street Art, Galleries, Events, by thrash822 on Jan 18, 2023 20:29:32 GMT 1, Hello All!
I'm off to Italy this Spring in May and was wondering if there's anything art related that can be suggested, any good galleries and street art spots etc...
Would love to hear what cities you would visit and any suggestions.. I've got about two weeks to see as much as I can and my life passion is certainly art / street art / graffiti / sticker art / design / architecture / food ... I mean who doesn't love this things!
Palermo / Naples / Rome / Florence / Venice / Milan are current possibilities, of course - but I have no idea quite yet how these places fit with my interests, so am looking for any advice from here on the forums!
Cheers... WAVEY

Visit ROME 🇮🇹 Italy Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Acme Thunderer on Jan 18, 2023 20:52:40 GMT 1, This gallery in Rome sometimes has interesting artists exhibit - exclusiveurbanart.com
They just had Jameson Robinson and got Flog next month. In the past they had Mason Storm, so not always good. 😉 Worth keeping an eye out though as they do get original pieces from the artists they show and no doubt will have someone lined up in May,

Visit ROME 🇮🇹 Italy Street Art, Galleries, Events, by elzerman on Jan 18, 2023 20:55:12 GMT 1, Ive toured Italy with my band the last 7 years, so I’ve been to a good chunk of cities. If you want roughness combined with ancient architecture an a real interesting contemporary street art scene, Sicily is for you! Palermo is a must, as well as Catania. Rome is like a huge museum to walk around in and Napoli is the Sicily of the mainland. I went to Fondazione Prada in Milano before Christmas which I would recommend. Florence and Venice are also wonderful places to visit both for the historical sights and the the art but also because they are architecturally different. What a wonderful time you’re gonna have!! And just ask if you need more specific recommendations like restaurants and such when you know where you’ll end up.
