Thanks, it's just that shipping costs, import taxes and stuff like that makes it very expensive to import from the US..

Looking to sell my Roam Bomber Boy canvas No 1/5 in mint condition.  Size is 500x652mm.  2014 from NYC show. £1000 no offers as is cost after delivery etc etc and could be interested in a trade.  Can ship world wide at your cost.

Genuine reason for sale being that I bought 2 canvasses from the NYC show (Bomber boy and Bombed the Whatson colab) and also another bomber boy for a friend that wanted one and it made sense to come in my shipment.  Long of the short of it he decided (while in transit) he can't afford the canvas .  I now need to get rid of one.

I best also point out as I know eBay will mentioned that the reason I didn't put mine on here before ebay is that someone else listed theirs the day I wanted to do mine so thought no point!  Now however I am listing mine for about £500 less.

Ashrx your story doesn't hold up. You immediately listed it on Ebay for $1,000. over cost. Sorry, but that's blatant flipping!  At the time, I contacted you and offered to purchase it at cost.

In fact, both of you were trying to flip them on Ebay and now that you couldn't sell them at a profit, you're trying to unload them here. As much as I really wanted that canvas, I won't deal with flippers even if you're now selling it at cost. Very disheartening.

Usually used to describe someone who buys the artwork purely to sell quickly (flip) for a fast and easy profit.

eye kandi art - It's a tough and really grey subject in my opinion. people flip a dip a day and I personally think it really sucks when you REALLY want something for your wall and someone else manages to get it and then tries selling it for a lot more in a very short space of time. Needless to say yes it is business. If someone buy a Stik for £100 and sells for £900 later on that day I take my hat off to the person who won't take the £900 and does the gentlemanly thing. I guess the fact is this is a great community and people try to do each other favours etc which is what's great about this place.

I personally won't defend myself as I'm not going into how much import, delivery this that and the other cost to prove I'm not flipping and to be honest I'm really not bothered. If someone wants it great, if not no problems I'll give it to my brother.

Hi I get where you are coming from, but the thing is if someone likes something enough they will pay for it. Or wait until another one comes up at a price they can afford? Not sure but any one in business is always going to by low sell high or else what's the point , other wise it would be called a charity. If your just selling on here to each other then I guess that's different.

No one is forcing any one to buy anything at the end of the day, and the is always going to be another for sale somewhere else.
