Don't think so
The event actually is from that date to 18th Jan when I guess the draw takes place.

Graffle check it out, by trowel on Dec 12, 2007 0:11:18 GMT 1, I'd normally hesitate to bump a thread offering the chance to win a Banksy or a Jamie Reid for a fiver, but as it's a raffle for children's charities everyone on this board should be buying up tickets, which go on sale from this Saturday.
Perhaps the thread should be stickied and the title changed to "Banksy for a fiver!!" to maximise traffic!
Anyway, I always win raffles ;D

Graffle check it out, by orangematt on Dec 14, 2007 20:52:31 GMT 1, Try contacting Dom ( he's sorting out the graffle, contact info on graffle.co.uk)
If there is no other way of doing it you could always nominate someone local to Bristol to buy some raffle tickets on your behalf .. they could let you know your numbers before the draw .. and then if your number comes up you will just have to pay for shipping the item to yourselves ... Lots of trustworthy people here who could sort you out !!

Graffle check it out, by hlarmy on Dec 20, 2007 13:34:33 GMT 1, On the website, is the 'Buy Ticket' section a ticket for entry or a raffle ticket?
Also, has anyone been down there? Do you recommend it as I'm considering a visit on Saturday (it beats xmas shopping!) ...

www.graffle.co.uk/buy_a_ticket.htm
I've just sent them an email with all my details, I'm presuming they'll then request payment somehow then I'll be posted a ticket. If you're local to Bristol I'd just pick a ticket up and save yourself the £1.50 postage costs.

Graffle check it out, by corblimeylimey on Dec 20, 2007 14:05:11 GMT 1, Just curious about something: 13.The net proceeds collected will be distributed as follows 13.1.75% to Above & Beyond Charities (at United Bristol Hospital’s Trust) (www.aboveandbeyond.org.uk ; Reg’d charity No. 229945) specifically for Children’s work at the Bristol Children’s Hospital; and 13.2.25% to Fairbridge (www.fairbridge.org.uk; Reg’d charity No. 206807). 14.This lottery is organised by Dominic Rowswell (“the Organiser”) of Graffle c/o Agency 51 Ltd, 81-83 Stokes Croft, Bristol, BS1 3RD. It is governed by the laws of England. 15.The prizes comprise prints, posters and original canvasses donated by street artists. There are numerous prizes. Check www.graffle.co.uk for an up to date list. Full details of all of the prizes are available at www.graffle.co.uk. The images shown on the website may not reflect the true colours, size or quality of the prizes. Prizes are donated, so I was wondering what the other 96% of the money was for if not for charity?
75% + 25% =100%
the net amount will be slightly smaller than the gross amount due to printing, website, postage costs etc.

Anyhow, there's a piece coming up in a sec on BBC Bristol News on BBC1 about the Banksy art up for grabs - they used pictures of Avon & Somerset Constabulary in the trail?
And Silky, when are you going to sticky this thread? ;D
Edit: nice, they showed pics of Stop & Search and Dom confirmed it's an AP \o/ Not so sure about him saying it might be worth a bit on eBay though!!
Plus nice sticky work mods

Graffle check it out, by scavos on Dec 20, 2007 22:09:44 GMT 1, Have just got back from the 12 Days show in Bristol and forgot to buy a ticket while down there! I've just emailed Dom and I hope I'm not to late to get a ticket. The 12 Days exihibit is fantastic! If anyone is considering it, I urge you to get down there and give a go. You'll meet some top people too.
