Charming Baker: Triumph in the face of absurdity, by rsj on Jun 18, 2012 12:29:33 GMT 1, No one seems to have posted this yet, so for those who is interested in Charming Baker's works, he has done a new cast aluminium sculpture "in collaboration" with Paul Smith.
It "depicts a tiny mouse effortlessly balancing a life-sized bicycle to symbolise the possibility of achieving even the most impossible dreams if you have inner strength and passion".
It is exhibited at the V&A from July 6 until July 29, and at Selfridges from July 30 until August 19, before heading to an auction!

Not sure we're likely to see a print from CB anytime soon, maybe a panda boy with Paul Smith stripes in the background?

Smith loves cycling hence the bike (and charmings jacket probably) a lot more successful than the animal heads in his show? Anyway I thought you rated Baker or only in 2D ! |

Lol ... I believe Lance armstrong is also a bit partial to a bit of cycling. this is more about baker being Paul smiths in house artists and a lot more to do with cash strapped olympic GB me thinks. Although nothing new apparently campbells soup used andy warhol quite a lot .
