Wow, these totally passed me by! Great find and pick up for those prices. Congrats!
Especially considering Outsiders original on paper for £750 during the week.

Yup, real bargains...I admit to be guilty as charged by keeping them quiet, but I knew that a comment on this forum and I would be competing with A LOT of other folk!!! All for a good charitable cause as well....

Raised a few quid though!

I had a quick look at those. Thought the Lucy ones would go way out of my price range, but I was wrong. Shame about not bidding Was there any write-up about why Lucy did 10 for the auction? I think everyone else just did the 1?

I thought they would have gone higher, but didn't see the auction mentioned anywhere so that could be why. I think the prices would have been higher if the auctions were spread out a bit, most of the ten all ended within seconds of each other not giving people a chance to bid on others if they missed out. Shame really as there were a few nice ones.

I posted a link to this auction on the charities thread on Friday , I was surprised it never received anymore interest. Maybe I should have posted in the main forum.:(

I've been following that auction but I didn't bid... some nice pieces and good prices there. if anyone is after Lucy McLauchlan originals, you should contact Angelo at Studiocromie, not sure if he still have some hand painted ceramic tiles but I bought 3 last fall and they were really good priced (compared to latest Lucy's print at Laz and these tamburines too), it's worth a try.

Ive always wondered what to do with things like the tiles, do you have any shots of how you have dislayed them ? Very happy that I managed to win three of the tambourines from the charity auction. They're contrasting in composition and I imagined they should work well together. I found these really by chance by clicking the eBay charity listing link. Also almost didn't bid at all thinking it would go much higher than I could afford! Looking forward to receive these...

Congrats on scoring 3 , that must be some positive karma for looking through the charity sales.
