Very interesting. Well at the moment it is all supply and demand so technically you could buy up all the stiks and then triple the price.

You are probably right about this dish. If it is for the few paintings at the last show, I cant see how it helps stik long term to sell direct to a dealer.

off topic but - I know the Chapman thing is POA on his site, but isn't he gonna struggle to make a fat profit off that considering you only have to watch the telly to find out how much he paid for it? (same for the rest of the stuff from 4 rooms obviously)

Not sure they really buy anything on 4 rooms other than for advertising - saw Gordon Watson interviewed a couple of weeks ago saying he hadn't sold anything hed bought on the show. The dish was on the lamberty site about 3 weeks ago with a bit of info about stik and how they met etc.
