Anyone elses text going screwy on the main page?
Its making everything really spaced out
bit annoying

yes and it's pissing me off .... !!
edit ... whats even more annoying is when i go to page 2 in my pm's it says 'this page is in serbian , would you like to translate this page' even though it's in english

perfectly normal here but was spaced out at home, think its to do with the browser being used or version of IE

The white space is there in some browsers because DOC type of the page is not set in source code; meaning that no standard is set and consequently browsers do not know which standard to follow to read the page. So all pages are read in "Quirks mode" instead of "Strict mode"... Basically, Quirks mode means do-wathever-you-can-to-read-the-page and forget web standard... so yes you should expect the page to be different in every single PC/platform.
