another great print, but too big for my small walls... Good luck for those who get one, show us pictures Ditto....117cm plus a frame makes this a monster and too big for me. I'd have preferred 65% of the size for 85% of the price.....

Am I reading this thread wrong, it seems like everyone is not reading the first post properly. It is a good price for an edition of 125. Will buy it if I can because I like it, not because of the investment potential.

Harringtons work better when bigger.
These are the size his BLK/MRKT prints should have been.

I'd love one and have no issues with the price or the edition size but as above, its the physical size which means I can't pull the trigger.
It would be too imposing in my modest abode. If had had a huge wall in Belgravia, then I'd have the original/s.

I now realise the size is too big for my rooms also. Pity. Disagree about the BLK MKT editions though. In fact it would be the ideal size for this print.

Carnival print is still under my bed, together with many other large sized prints (white portrait, Half pint nyc, etc...). Not the best use of these stunning pieces

These new prints don't really do anything for me but then seeing them in the flesh and especially framed always makes me realise what a superb artist he is!. The subject matter is not always my cup of tea, much like Micallef with some of his work, but the skill & talent is undeniable!

UNDER YOUR BED? You should be ashamed. Holy Grail print for me.

No doubting the skill set but there are question marks over the forward thinking of the gallery if they had any say over the size.
20cm smaller over both planes and this would be gone IMO. When push comes to shove the prints are intended to go on walls and I'd envisage the intention in this day and age is a reasonably swift sell out?

I think what is more odd is the schizophrenic pricing/edition sizes lately, £950/ed. 30, £350/ed. 150. I almost think if this had been £500 or £550/ed. 75 or 50 or similar it would have gone straightaway

Fair point and I guess I'd broadly agree with the latter. Not sure about the former due to the fact that a print that is 117cm long (say 15cm more for framing) would occupy too much vertical wall space on the average wall.
They are very nice - you must be looking to sell Live Brighton Beach at cost soon to make room for the CH!

...you may be right, I have a newly renovated house and have the luxury of lots of virgin wallspace No chance on the Brighton Beach I'm afraid, the wife likes that one too much

Worth a go.......
Hopefully the next print will be of an image and a size and a price that suits me! Looking forward to seeing some of these framed up, I'm sure they will look exceptional.

Agree with the ones not over enthusiastic about the size of these - but if one manage clear the space it will be nothing short of awesome

Does anyone know if the dimensions given are from the edges of the paper or the edge of the image? I'm hoping the answer is the edge of the paper, and there is a thick enough white boarder that most of that can be covered over by matting and just leave the sig and edition munber visible to keep the framing size to a minimum.

Dont know for sure but since its the only measurement quoted I would be really surprised if its not edge to edge

Frame would cost s pretty penny though!

Anyone seen one in person? I'm tempted and I want someone to tell me how awful they looked up close...

Anyone seen one in person? I'm tempted and I want someone to tell me how awful they looked up close... Not sure if many eyes have seen these, yet. I'm sure it's going to be a very powerful print. The size is massive 3x4ft(ish). Can't believe they are stil available. With this and When We Were Kings up on a wall, it's going to have the power to hypnotize.

We will be waiting at least another two weeks before shipping. Apparently due to the gold leaf and final varnish to be applied. Not fussed as long as the final product is great, witch I'm anticipating it will be.
