Im going back to the toy print. If its someone (us as fans) hugging inexperienced or incompetent taggers then I think the artist is saying we love any old Sh!t??? Thats my new take on it which I can handle. Then again it could mean we embrace inexperienced or incompetent taggers. Who knows ! That's my brain gone for the night. Work in 6 hours so bed for me now

Liking Toy ...
For those buying sure you get 5% tax added
A 5% art tax is added to items priced over £ 180 according to Norwegian legislation. The tax amount also contains VAT (moms) for Norwegian customers.
Takes the print to £262.50 then P&P estimate £16 so approx £278.50 ...
Did not realise this till I got to check out for Kitty Riot ..
Good luck all ..

Two very bad ass prints, either would look great framed on the wall! Toy over Winner though for me. Wish they were 175 pounds for the sake of the pocket book!

The tax is for Norwegian buyers, it doesn't apply to overseas sales.

Wanted to share 2 more images from his old work. First one is pretty strong, but ive always loved it. Absolutely love that one. I quite like both the images he is releasing, will certainly try to pick one or both up.

I do like toy the best, i'm just struggling to understand what it's all about still even though it has been discussed on this thread already?

in my recent discovery of Dolk, I was planning on going for this release but these images feel flat. Then here is something not so flat for you to enjoy Lofoten, Norway 2008 This is a really just an unpleasant image, not creative in the least, just a tasteless attempt at shock. expect better, demand better.

I have to disagree with you there paparocks64 First of all, this image is not an any print, canvas or paper. It is painted in a place where there are more ice bears then ppl(not really ) I think it is very well thought through. Yes it is very very strong, but i personally like strong images. This one just fits the surroundings so well, and that whats makes it stand out i think.

Do you think so ? I always saw it as one of his best pieces. Art/Artist striving for Immortality-Art and artists throughout the ages preoccupied with death etc. I think if a kid looks at renaissance art, he sees a lot of death. Kid pondering life/death.. etc etc.. I don't see it as shocking in the least and doubt that this would ever be Dolk's intention. I like it. A lot.

As mentioned before, I like them both. The female form and colour of Toy is always going to appeal to more people, but Winner would look good next to CYW and the likes.

[ Blimey!! Looks like a direct rip-off!! Which came first?... Reminds me of Kenny Random too! That said, i have not seen Dolk copy much from others in the past. He doesnt really, although the police/punch bag piece could be a take on the Banksy pinata work. Whatson has great technique, but most of his work does look like other peoples.

Saw the OG on OSL Contemporary sept. 2011 and it's a lot better, but I think the print edition "Toy" really works also. Still hoping for a hand finished small edition popping up tomorrow...
