^really really like this piece - never heard of this artist before... what a majestic lion! (look at the feet and the power in the eyes -, wow! - well done!)... very moving piece... thanks for sharing... a must buy!

I have this monoprint.....and its amazing! The work and skill that go into making them is breathtaking! In the flesh the characters really jump off the paper. Worth saving up for IMO

John Simpson studied with and shared a studio in Brighton with Antony Micallef (who's a collector of his work) He has shown alongside Dali, Warhol and Gormley among others. Last year John provided all the artwork /imagery for Snow Patrol's "Fallen Empire's" album.

thank you - never heard of Snow Patrol before either, but listening to them on youtube now (feel so uncool on here most of the time...)
Can't wait for this Reflection piece release (it's incredible) - been looking at some John Simpson work I can find on the internet too - wow! - i could talk for days about what the lion represents - but i would bore just about everyone - but i'll just say this artist really got this piece spot on!
