Damn, love that. Homage to some NYC legends. Surely not the print though? Too many colours for a free print, no? I was expecting a one colour, probably a rat or whatever. I think Cornbread was from Philly. The print is much better than I was expecting to be honest!

Set off from Leicester at 4am and started queuing at 6am, it's been a very good day, just called into Sotherbys and enquired about the Impressionist and Modern Art catalogue featuring Munchs the Scream (the painting is o longer here) and as they only had one left and that was slightly torn they gave it me for free.
Although I was lucky I feel a little sorry for those behind me who missed out There was another 50 prints available at £300 each and a few picked these up.
The gallery staff including the security men were very pleasant, Blek was charming taking time to talk to people and also met a few forum members who were really nice to chat to.

I'm one of those who missed out thanks to the queue jumpers and was 'offered' the chance to purchase one of the 50 they had for sale at £300! Great way to treat fans who have queued in the rain for 4+ hours.
I know no one is entitled to anything for free, but it just frustrated me and rubbed salt in the wounds.
Not all is lost, off to see roa show now.
But this has def left me with a diminished view of the artist and the gallery.
Poor form.

Edition is now 200 I believe. 100 were free, 50 for sale, no idea of the other 50.

The image was "Mona" and was an edition of 200 not 100. The paper is very thin, so mine has a slight crease in one corner. Nevertheless a nice free print. Tube or a plastic bag even would've been nice though.

Agreed Damien123 I would not buy it off ebay for the simple fact these people do not appreciate art, but money.

first ones are up on ebay A nice freebie, but I certainly wouldn't part with cash for one. I think these will struggle on ebay

Why would you buy from ebay when they are £300 from the gallery ? Unlucky to those that missed out, but at least you had the chance to purchase... so didnt need to leave empty handed

A pain all round as I ended up at 110 in the queue. Pleased for Gibbin and good to see you again after Dran at M&S. I bought the print as I do like the image. Mine is now hand-finished by Blek so happy with that. Paper is very thin though. Thanks to the guy who gave me the whiteboard so I could get something for free - Bkek drew a nice little rat so I can prop that up on the bookshelf. Met some good people too so thanks for the chat and making the time pass so pleasantly to all you at 100 to 120 at the end.

I'm a little disappointed. I was 89 in the queue at 6.25am but due to queue jumpers ended up 105 Hoping for better luck next time
