Not long to go now, have developed a compulsive counting disorder, but might be just in luck IF there are no more queue jumpers. Dont let them do it mate, tell them to f**k off. The worst ones are thr ones who pretend to be talking to their mates and then all of a sudden they are there an hour later still talking and are leaning against a wall. Flipping is seen as being low, but surely pushing someone out of a queue who has been there all night is even lower.

I am not going now after viewing this forum at 3am ish and decided not to bother. Best of luck everyone that went, hope you get one. I see Remi Rough and Risk met the man last night Same here, was busy when I walked past about 8. Lots of groups of people there, I wouldn't be surprised to see a bus turn up to pick them all up!

Bad times, this kind of thing shouldnt be allowed to go on. Its also up to event organisers to better police these queues so legitimate fans waiting dont suffer

In some circumstances I think physical violence is the only solution

It's not rocket science though is it? Opera employ a security guard or member of staff for the night with a ticket book, he/she hands out 100 tickets to people queueing until they are gone. You give the ticket in when you get the print. Same way VNA do it. Would've cost Opera 150 quid tops to do that 10pm-10am and all this stupidity and jumping could be avoided. If someone in the queue has 52 and the guy in-front has nada then he hasn't clearly queued in that spot has he?

Kinda not surprised by this, it's becoming more of a given that this will happen. Woke up at 5 and after speaking to a couple of friends in the queue decided against standing in the rain and losing half a days pay. Good luck to all that made the effort. I hope you get lucky and don't lose out.

Pleased I went back to bed. Its a sad state of affairs when you have to take queue jumpers into account when deciding wether to queue or not...

this is just silly, people in line for something they have have no idea what it is. Bulls**t to anyone who says it's about the art, no one knows what the art is!
I've stated many times i have no issues with flipping, and i still don't, but this sleeping out overnight for something you've never even seen just seems beyond rediculous to me.

its a shame this goes on, and punters and galleries will never win,
even if you get a ticket there will be a queue for tickets for tickets to get a ticket for a ticket etc etc etc. you get me ?
im sure the simple way of doing this would be have an opening go and have a look at the artwork pop your name in the hat then after the exhibition they do a draw and there you go bobs your uncle,
to be fair i think its quite irresponsible of the gallery to do this, for many many reasons.....
keep your eyes on ebay im sure by 12o clock there will be a few up for sale, and of course people on here will see the print and like it, i probably will to, but i refuse to buy it regardless of price, i recommend that you do too as it just adds fuel to the ever burning fire of these leaches that do it just for a fast buck.....(thats my 10p's worth anyway)

Damn, love that. Homage to some NYC legends. Surely not the print though? Too many colours for a free print, no? I was expecting a one colour, probably a rat or whatever.

Couldnt drag myself out of bed at 4.48am though. Dont really get the idea everyone is off to flip it. I would have been way happy to get one. May not be his best image (seems obvious not to give away your best selling work!!!). It would have been Bleks style though, and also my first Blek print. Would have still framed it and put it on the wall. If its a great image, maybe the front room, if its a crap image, maybe the wall inside my wardrobe. Would have kept it though! So if someone does decide "meh this is crap" feel free to send it on, id be happy. At the same time, i am NOT suggesting a s**t load of them wont be on ebay within the hour. they most definatly WILL be.

Its alright, ideally would've worked better with a different background colour imo
Shall we start taking bets on how fast these appear on the 'bay then? I'll take 11:45

I know what he stands for and all that, but the images I've seen from this show are really poor IMO. Using colour just doesn't seem to work for him.
