Na, not for me...seems like The Outsiders are starting to release the Bast's in a Shepard Fairey style, one or two a month.

At first glance, I was going to write something similar to the comments above, but he more I see it, the more I like it... Looks like a photo negative , and I'm somewhat drawn to it.

Not sure how i feel abouth this one. Cant buy it reguardless. But its one of those ones that will probabblly look much better in person. Either way good luck to those wanting to buy, i look forward to seeing them framed.

Not a massive BÄST fan but I actually quite like it. Cheap for such a small edition.

Easy pass, but I'm sure as with most of his prints it'll look a lot better in the flesh.
Interesting as it looks like it's printed over Aeroflot, but a little too jumpled in imagary and composition for my liking. Good price for the size and edition size though.

yeah great price and I like it, horse with gun is class! but think I would have to have bought aeroflot etc and hang em all together. One for the hardcore. Or if you live in Kensington.

I'm in the same boat as you Maad. Had it carted...Took a few minutes to think about it, and ultimately passed. I have an idea that this is something I'll end up regretting a couple weeks down the road.

Yep. I carted it for a second for debate. Just can't do it. May be because I have a carnegie yellow and want to mix it up color-wise. Good price though! Anyone think Bast will do a drop on his site again soon? |

I always dread Bast releases because i have to face the realization that i cannot afford them all. This is no exception. I absolutely love it! Somewhat reminds me of his more abstract work during the Botulism show mixed with his use of cartoon characters. Even though the comparison has been made numerous times, Basquiat's influence is strongly evident in this piece.
For the size alone, I think it's a steal in comparison to recent works. Only £15 more than the monstrosity on offer from POW's site. Now someone buy some of my prints so I can have this grace my wall.

After umming and arrrring for a few hours i decided to pull the trigger as the more i looked at the image the more i really liked it! Happy with the price tag too and pleased to get my first bast!

Had a 'fiddle' in photoshop and it does indeed have Aeroflot in the background. |
