sorry if this has been posted already but the can's are up tomorrow on the obey website OBEY X MTN SPRAY CANS Montana Colors and OBEY entice you with these OBEY LIMITED EDITION spray cans. Each model represents one of the three classic OBEY colors – black, cream and red-. Only 500 units were made in each color. Each can comes in a Wooden box with a star stamp and is signed by Shepard Fairey in black marker. $35 PURCHASE RULES: Limit 1 Spray Can per person/household. Orders of more than 1 can, no matter what color, will not be accepted. If stock is available after 24 hours then purchases in other colors will be accepted. I wonder how many things Shep signs in a year? I think he has trained a few folks to sign for him at this point. Or at the very least its a team effort. |

Sadly US only...
No international orders other than Canada will be accepted due to shipping restrictions.
That means no orders will be accepted from Alaska, Hawaii or Mexico either.
Only domestic orders to the 48 contiguous states will be accepted.
Damn shame....

If this is the case it seems a bit disingenuous to tell us that the original edition was limited to 500 cans per colour and then bring out seemingly another batch of identical cans with the only difference being that they are signed. |

These signed cans are part of the run of 500. They are not an extra edition of 500. It appears this signed addition is seperate. These signed cans are part of the run of 500. They are not an extra edition of 500. Got lucky and snagged the Black and Cream (friend at work helped) ones. My buddy helping me get the Red timed out in the paypal process. Oh well. Can't wait to have them on display ;D ;D ;D So if they were not a separate 500, how many total actually got signed from each colorway? |

Obey got a portion of that 500 to sell themselves. some people were guessing they most likely got between 50-100 (probably closer to 50) of each color due to how fast they sold out. like pretty much everything sold on obeygiant.com (with the exception of things like stickers and patches), the cans (actually the display boxes) were signed. the remaining edition of each color was split by mtncolor europe, mtncolor usa and some of their distributors/retail. |
