What a thing of beauty. Just got an email from Laz Outsiders. Screen print with spray paint and stencilling on Somerset Velvet black 400gsm paper Varied edition of five signed by the artist 124cm x 90cm £1400 www.theoutsiders.net/item/5951,boof-fonty?token=30624-398-0334f28f53e7452285c336ad2ceaf3e74e59c8849ce6a6f6984b161642cf6a85-3 Check the link. Would post pic but I'm bad at that. Good luck to those who snag one!

They're pretty big. And they're all varied colors. Great image, though. Wish I had the dough.

I think Boof-fonty would have been a classic Bast and a definate buy for me if it was a bit uglier, if only it didnt have the cartoon face in the middle.
I am rather taken by Hanger 12 though, hmmm not sure if i can justify the price, especially with Aeroflot on the site at £450. Although that version doesn't work nearly as well for me.

Agreed about the Hanger 12, looks great and seeing it makes me look at the Aeroflot in a different light.
In my opinion the best buy at the Outsiders is the French Kiss!

I never liked the work myself... But a few months ago it started to grow on me though and i rather like the Pigs, PopEye's etc but still can’t work these out above... Time and age will change this I would think

Time and age will change this I would think One you really "get" Bast you may find it turns into a bit of an addiction! I can't get enough, and for me there isn't another artist out there with work as raw and full of energy.

forgive the sceptisim johnnyh, but the original ower said the same thing when he got it, and the rest as we all know is history.
The new Bast pieces are stunning, thick stock, and nice large size to boot, these I suspect wont hang around for long

Joe scuse me for saying but your talking out of your rear. I actually have no idea who the original owner was so no idea what they said. You have no idea who I am so not sure how you can compere us.
Although I am considering with some prints that are sitting in my art room I actually do not sell stuff so it's pointless I do not buy to sell as I am a collector. Hence as they ... Your comment is history. That my dear boy is a cracking Bast piece that others traded and I have collected.
I like as commented the new pieces of course. I was commenting on their price versus what I paid for this orig which as mentioned after the non sense on the thread proved to be a cracking price. Tell you what and as always money speaks louder than words if I sell it within the next 5 years 50% to charity.
So you guys can pull this thread out........ The charity will be Shelter happy mate.

If you have the money and love it buy it! If you don't love it at that price don't buy it I thought long and hard about Hangar 12 but couldn't quite justify the price
