The Stone Roses will play a free concert tonight at Warrington Parr Hall The Stone Roses will play a short set tonight (Wednesday 23rd May) at Warrington Parr Hall.
This is a free concert. Fans can collect one wristband per person from the Warrington Pyramid box office (next to Warrington Parr Hall) from 4pm today.
To qualify for a free ticket to this very special warm up show fans will need to take a Stone Roses CD inlay cover, record sleeve, official band t-shirt or Heaton Park ticket with them to the Pyramid box office in order to get a wrist band. All entrants must be aged 14+.

That sucks. Haven't seen the Roses since the tour when John Squire left. This is gonna blow the roof .... Very jealous.
Jealousy flows downhill. I'm in the States and the opportunities to see them are even more limited. Will be in London next month, but they won't while I'm there. Hope they make it to the States before they're gone again.

Damn me for missing this, warrington's only just over an hour away, could have made that quite easily. I've got tickets for the Sunday at Heaton Park but an intimate gig would have been great.

thats a great little set list you lucky barstewards... still waiting here in OZ for dates, I asked the wife if I could fly to Japan to see them. I won't write her response lets just say I am not going
I was lucky enough to be living in Manchester from 86 to 89 Great times for the music scene there. Saw the stone roses a few times round that time. Coincidently I went to see the happy Mondays a couple of weeks ago at Brixton academy. Didn't seem quite as good as they did quarter of a century ago!!
I know John quite well but only recently. Never seen him on stage, can't wait to see The Roses in June. Will be fantastic day. Love his art and now get to hear the music. Guess a lot of people from here will be going.

Having missed out on two rounds of tickets for heaton park where mates are going im praying rumours are true and london will be announced soon, not much time left though if they are finishing a world tour at the end of june.

Looks like it was an amazing show from the reviews, heading out to Barca in a couple of weeks time to see them at Razzmatazz. As of last week tickets were still available, cant wait !
