The late and genuinely great Adam Yauch / MCA / Nathaniel Hornblower.

Great musician, director, activist and all round good guy. He shed light on the plight of the Tibetan people and raised awareness through the Milarepa Foundation and the Free Tibet Gigs.
One of my first ever gigs as a kid was the Brixton gig with Run DMC and I still own the original t - shirt as well as stacks of Grand Royal Magazines!!.

They had a massive impact in our area, especially with the Volkswagen owners. Who didn't have a VW necklace? the best one in the school was a mate who borrowed the Headmasters new golf GTI badge. It didn't take long before his mum was standing next to him in the heads office accounting for his actions ;D
