Kate's were originally 2k and a set was 10k if memory serves me correctly? Thx. Still x 12 -15 in 6 years so would be interesting on the Warhol front how his prices changed in such a short period

Nice stats lee3, thanks. Which kate moss colourway is the most collectable? I would say the black & white AP edition - lovely!

Could be wrong but I was under the impression there were only 2 monochrome Kates, apparantly one was gifted to Kate Moss which she subsequently lost in a burglary and Laz had the other one, at the time the value was quoted as £80k. Please feel free to correct me if Ime wrong.

I believe there where 12 AP's. I very nearly bought one only to be swayed in to buying a coloured one & saving a few quid. I have to say this is without doubt the best print released in the last 7 years buy any artist.(bang up to date) I think purple is probably the best colour, followed by grey & blue. You really need to view these in real life to fully appreciate what the so called fuss is all about,a far better wall piece than a Marilyn Warhol in my opinion, if not an investment. The only print that rivals this that I have seen is a 5ft square metallic blue Hirst butterfly which is also a wow print that most would appreciate on there walls.

I love the smug lip on her. Great image. Worth more than Warhol? Are we really comparing Banksy to Warhol? Lets talk in another 20 years.

Dont get me wrong I like most of his works and I this Kate print but like most artists Bansky has copied Warhol. For these serious buyers investing in Banksy OG's/high end prints for the future, surely there is always that doubt in their mind about what will happen when Bansky comes out/gets found out?? he will write a book, do a few chat shows, then people get bored as there is no more mystery.. and his stock may de value?? But as you say we'll see what happens in 20 yrs, he may still be going and this Kate will be worth 200k, who knows..

JJ do you really think 10+ years into his 'career' the mystery holds much relevance? It certainly feels like with the passage of time it has become less and less important (apart from for tired journalistic taglines) all it intrinsically means is we concentrate on the images and not the man that bit more and if they were awful the scrutiny would shatter the myth quickly. At the end of the day, the work is all that matters.

I think the mystery is not important anymore. I would have enjoyed his installation at the MOCA just as much if I would know who he is. There are many street artist that are very successful while showing their face. I enjoy going to a show and talk to the artist. I just talked to Hera & Akut at their show opening and got my books signed. That made it more enjoyable to me.

Still think there are only 2 Monochromes, both signed by Moss and Banksy, if the stolen one was never recovered that leaves one legit piece with Laz, might give him a ring and see if he will donate it to the Forum and we can all share it!!

Warhol did not do print drops like what goes on these days. There was no internet, so you had to buy from a gallery for practical purposes. Personally, I am not a big fan of Kate, among the few that really don't do much for me.

Wow. Congrats on having the set of 6. They look amazing. Not sure about the 'estate agent' wiring you have used in your home but I still love 'em. Must be great looking at them every day!
