I agree  It's sad that threads about Cartain, Mr Brainwash and probably a few others often descend into childish name calling and similar. I just think its a slippery slope if we start allowing people to bully Artists, Galleries or fans away from the forum purely based on those people not being interested in an Artists work. It's your forum, you do what you want and always have. But a lot of people don't agree with your decisions. You have a very powerful tool in banning people and you should use it with caution. Maybe you should use the temporarily banning a lot more. I have no problem with that. But when you permanently ban people and by that take away years of communications with other members (posts/PMs) you destroy the social fabric the forum is made of. |

How things work at the moment is that threads on the Urban Art board stay there until they drop down about 5 pages, and then I move as many as I can into the Artists or Gallery board. So, if people are not interested and don't post on a thread, it drops down the pages fast and gets moved. If people troll treads by Artists they are not interested in, all they are doing is keeping the thread active on the main board. So what was the point of posting the video? You seem to take pleasure every so often in posting a load of crap that no-one is interested in. Stop trying to be all things to all artists and pretend theiy're your mates. We all grown aduilts here and can make our own minds up. Cartrain is out of his f***in' depth in both his work and his stunts. And what we have to put up with on this forum from him and his mates is what should be banned. This video makes Cartrain look like the village idiot he undoubtedly is. And yet strangely I have some sympathy for him because he clearly doesn't understand how he comes across. This isn't rebellion, or art; it's deeply embarrassing. And I am actually ashamed to think that something I've had a passion for for so many years has produced this buffoon. You've just repeated all the things i said about you, how you deprive a village of an idiot. Remember. Delighted your back and what a magnanimous post. Your attitude for me is to be applauded. I want to extend my thanks to Dan for agreeing to let me back on here, after I sent him a message about this whole fiasco... albeit in a new upgraded Speebe.01 version. I meant no disrespect to Dan and was in the middle of posting an apology in light of the fact that he took my comments the wrong way...When the ol'speebe was banned. I stand by all my last post... and have chosen to block all posts from those who make the bile within me rise to the fore! Rebooted for the 21st Century people, with new ignore the douche powers!

thegreatarchitect - if you were to se my first post on this subject, i suggested that Cartrain remove the video because it does him no favours what so ever. But more than that it is deeply embarrassing for him - he comes across as 'special needs'. And it's not just me that has said this, many contributors have made reference to this.
For a lot of people on this forum, what we saw in that video actually gave us an answer to what we've seen on here in terms of Cartrain's art and self-promotion. It has confirmed our thoughts that here is someone who hasn't got a clue.
But is also turning what we all have a passion for into a joke.

I find it amusing to see how immature this thread has developed. I haven't said anything harmful to anyone on this forum or in real life. When some of you are bringing my morals into question when all i have done is refused to get off TATE property. I think some of you need to question your own moral's rather than other peoples if all you do all day is attack people from behind a computer screen. Also to clear things up I have no relation to Silky or thegreatarchitect.

You are right, but firstly i did not seek publicity that day, it was the Tate security that made that decision for me, and we only started filming once they approached, ( legal reasons) My intention that day was only to sell some work. As many of you on this forum have opinions about my work that i do not share. I will let my new work speak for itself. i once said my Money was on me, i still say today ''My money's on me'' Only more so What happened to Cartrain ? well I've been busy |
