The posts on this thread were part of the Stik thread, but as they were nothing to do with Stik or his art, I have moved those selected posts to a new thread here.
Nothing has been deleted.
This thread did not exist before.
This thread never had another post at the start.
All that's happened is that those disruptive posts have been moved, to allow people who still wish to talk about Stik and his work can do so.[/quote]

I have different interests and passions in my life as well as art and as such i am a member on several other forums where we discuss our passion and interests as i am sure many others do On those other forums i have never seen anything like this constant b**ching,winging,moaning, complaining, threating putting everyone and everything down it really is pathetic and seems to be more and more constant and i find myself coming on here less and less anyway i will shut up before someone juggs me  Yep! I agree completely. I think some members forget that some days we can get around 4,000 people online here, so it's not just a place for a few of your mates to have a laugh, and play childish games. Most of us are here to learn, share information and have good conversations about Art  Jesustheba, hold in there! Things will get better i agree and have you a few +++'s today to make up for my behaviour ;D but i think it was a bit childish on your part also posting that cartrain video where it had no place. |

but i think it was a bit childish on your part also posting that cartrain video where it had no place. Its a video about an Artist showing his Art outside a famous London Art Gallery, and its posted on and Art forum. If you, me or anyone else dislikes an Artist or what he was doing in the video isn't a reason not to post it. We are all here to learn about whats going on and discuss things as adults. |

Let me make that even clearer. This is an Art forum and we can ALL post about ANY Artist. You, Me or Anyone disliking the Artist makes absolutely no difference. Discussions about ALL Artists should be civilised and constructive, rather than just people trolling thread of Artists that they dont like. I dont like a lot of the Artists work posted on here, but that doesnt bother me, coz thats just the reality of life Im still interested in reading about those Artists and their work. |

well, there are days i get really frustrated and annoyed with this forum (like yesterday!!!!!!) and vow never to come back! - but always do... but, i've rationalized it this way, it's probably one of the more passionate and 'alive' forums - partly due to the artistic talent; wouldn't expect anything less - proper urban, street, art, intellect, hustling and banksy and life, is all (perhaps, sometimes even a little bit gritty)... the artistic creativity on here is immense and reflective of a young phase of urban and street art and just human life- has to go through this phase... but, frankly let's hope it always stays alive!

Exactly!  A good forum embraces ALL of the Art and enjoys discussing it, good or bad, popular or unpopular. Its not about limiting things to just a few Artists that a small group of members approve of. |

Chaps to be fair to Daniel he wanted to do a number of stars system for the artists. It was members like me who complained bitterly against this. Daniel did not do it which I think was appreciated by most members. How do you categorize artists and there work especially as they develop.
If someone calls themselves an artist and displays their work do you really have a problem with this. Why be so critical of them. If you do not like you do not have to comment. Big problem on here is one person knocks something and loads join the band wagon.
Now that's not to say people cannot criticize but there is constructive critisism and also when some one not getting a great response does not need everyone on the board to tell them how bad it is.
Know a couple of good artists who no longer come on this board due to this.
So it is an art forumn and not everyone is Banksy. Again as mentioned earlier it's as easy to be nice to people and say you do not like the work as it is to say "that's s**t". Sometimes you can also just leave it as not worth telling people soon get the message.
But the way this place is we will miss some of the talents comming through. Even Some of the really talented artists take a pounding rather than just an opinion.
Now not a lover of Stik 's work but look what that thread developed into that is madness

But he has done a star system, he just changed it from 100% his own personal opinion to an opinion reflected on votes from that awards thingy. |

I would like to take the opportunity to explain myself. I enjoy this forum for what it is as someone has mentioned above, i did not come on here the other day, bored, looking for a reason to start a row with someone for no reason (and on a forum of all places?!) . I have also enjoyed the Stik thread until i saw the intimidation and his general pisstaking out of a friend of mine and the home county i am from. It was childish to rise to it publicly, and make the comments i did, but i certainly wasn't messing about unlike rrr who was making all sorts of promises which I now know were a complete wind up. i.e a moody phone number sent to me. Thats what i can't understand how he can come on here making all sorts of threats just for that reason to get all excited that he has got to a few people via his pc....Mental.
Anyway we move on, apologies once again to Stik and anyone who was pissed off with the exchange of words.

Hate forum trolls, the ones that disrespect new members who are emerging artists. If they get too much negativity they will simply leave for good and that then restricts the forum to establish artists. Sad really.

I wonder where in Whitehawk ,these scousers live, i've never met any ,as for Xmyart,i have met and chatted to him about Art for a few hours and have always found him great company.St.james street ,NOW that is a place i try to avoid - just my tuppence.
