Shepard Fairey "Bright Future" & "Shoplifters Welcome" New Print Available March 20th  Shepard Fairey recently collaborated with Jamie Reid and the result it called "Bright Future" & "Shoplifters Welcome" which will be available for purchase early next week. Each screenprint is an edition of 450, measures 18'x24', numbered, signed (Shepard Fairey Only)

There are large formats too.   print drop on the 20th The collaboration is comprised of 4 Large Format Screen Print Editions and a series of unique, hand-collaged, Fine Art Editions (HPMs). Each edition will be signed by both Shepard Fairey and Jamie Reid. Details for the large format prints are provided below. Please contact Subliminal Projects for further information. “Shoplifters Welcome” (2 Color Variations) 26 x 34 1/2 inches Each color variation is an Edition of 50 Signed by Shepard Fairey and Jamie Reid Retail Value: $700 “Bright Future” (2 Color Variations) 30 x 30 inches Each color variation is an Edition of 50 Signed by Shepard Fairey and Jamie Reid Retail Value: $700 The Large Format Editions are available to purchase in person beginning 8 PM on Friday, March 16th at the Ragged Kingdom opening reception. Official public release (available in person or by phone) is Saturday, March 17th at Subliminal Projects (during gallery hours only). Please note, the large format editions will not be available to ship until April. Any purchases made before April are considered a pre-order, and the purchase will be shipped at a later date. ...know I'm pretty much on my own with this but still not into his work. Solid grafic design, no doubt, but art? Also no own subject to most of the pieces, mainly jumping on the zeitgeist. Big cash making machine if you ask me...but I know, I know...nobody asked me. ;D

I love Jamie Reid's work and think the colours on the bright future work really well.
I like some of Shep's work some I am not so keen on but the Jamie Reid influence on this print just screams out over Shep's colouring. I personally love it

So they sell out in seconds and then show up on eBay in minutes? How is this any different from anything Mr. Brainwash does? (And yes, I know I'm bitter, and yes, I know Shep's got more talent than MBW, but hell, the "market" treats them the same, right...?)
