So chuffed this one's been chosen to release as a print. One of my favourites from 2011. I signed up for the newsletter a while back but never received anything? If anyone can send me a pre-order link I'd be hugely appreciative... EDIT: just found the link, hmm HF or not...

For the price, edition side, print size and quality this is a great value print! I'm sure these will look stunning framed and there are so many vibrant colours! The issue shouldn't be to buy or not, it should be how to frame it!

was the luck of the draw that i checked the forum a few mins ago and was able to score one; will make a great lottery give away at an upcoming local event;
the way i see it is a number of artists give the proceeds of art sales to charity all the time;
personally i give to charity annually - for 2012 i think i will direct those funds away from organizations like united way etc - and support these street/urban artists with some purchases and provide them some global exposure in some underserved communities, who are not yet influenced by art... everybody wins...

Good idea. One added bonus, you can get a tax deduction for the proceeds which in some cases can be more valuable than what you paid. I'm not saying you are trying to make money off of it but you should look into it because saving money or even profiting by donating can help fund future donations.

Sickboy is one of my favourite artists, not everyone likes his style though, his temples remind me of late nights in Bristol and I have to disagree with another post on here that they dont tranfer to print well... the image is iconic. Sickboy always delivers and at good prices too Andy Warhol's Soup Cans = Iconic Sickboy Temples = Nice on the street and very well executed but most certainly not iconic. Anyway, love his new work.

Got an update from the man himself, the standard edition print is much closer to the original piece, and as some people on here have spotted it’s difficult to hand finish given the amount of detail on their as it is – and also the standard already includes gold leaf and UV finished which were hand done anyway
There are now less than a dozen in stock apparently so act quick if you want one!

Stupid question time. But the details say its a two colour print? How is that possible with all the different colours on it?

Stupid question time. But the details say its a two colour print? How is that possible with all the different colours on it? Its a Giclee (high quality digital print) with two screen printed elements, one in liquid gold leaf and a spot varnish.

Thanks, that makes a bit more sense. I must have been reading it and ignoring the word giclee

not liquid gold, silkscreen printed 'size' (gold glue) then 23ct gold leaf applied to the size.
