This is an original Antony Micallef from the Becoming Animal show with Laz in 2009 - titled "Escorts 1 - Becoming Animal". This body of work was commissioned for the Journey project in association with the UN, the Mayor of New York’s Office, Emma Thompson and the Roddick Foundation to highlight the horrors of sex trafficking. I lucked out in finding another piece from the same body of work that I've been obsessed with since seeing the show, hence the sale of this piece. The medium is charcoal and acrylic on paper, and it measures 68cm x 50cm (82cm x 34cm framed). Complete provenance from Laz inc is included, and the piece is conservation framed in white with gallery tag on verso. Please PM with questions or to request detailed photos. For me (very much personal taste here) one of the best pieces to come up for sale here for ages, bar the hand sprayed rat.
