As announced @ his official website, Chris is now working on a new solo show @ Jaski gallery, that is opening on 28th of April! here's a preview of his work in an early stage of completion:  with one of the biggest Dutch holidays, Koninginnedag (queensday), being only 2 days after the opening, this is a GREAT excuse to visit the city..  personally, Im VERY excited about this! |

I love Berens's work! Particularly this landscape work above (I can only imagine as to how it will look once finished), I am sure this showing will be one to see. Sal, will you be making it? Any idea as to where these are priced at?

Sal, will you be making it? Any idea as to where these are priced at? yup, I should be there for the opening.. pretty excited about it!.. as for the price, it's hard to say, but the fact that his last 70 X 70 cm pieces were € 9.000, should give you a clue how much these 150 x 150 cm ones could be.. Is it just me or is there a giant white Rhino on the horizon ? there is a giant white rhino there.. you're not alone! |

Came across Jaski gallery a few years ago on New Years eve while walking around the city, was one of the only galleries open on the day, and got my first exposure to Chris Berens work.... mesmerised ever since... but will be a while before I can afford it...
