Eine - Dirty Warhols

Not a FS thread but just a general discussion - which is nice to have on a forum now and then

I noticed a DW on ebay for sale - currently cheap as chips - and it prompted me to go back to my folio and take another look at the full set that I bought a while back.

The more I looked at them, the more I liked them. Edgy image, hand finished, unusual typography, VANDAL font, a different colourway for each of the four and a low purchase price.

They haven't made my wall - Mrs HB isn't keen - but I'm seriously thinking of seeing what MFM can do as a deal to get them on my office walls.

Just wondered what anyone else thought. I often hear of folk asking for something a bit different from Eine and have to say that they've really grown on me.

...the only one I was tempted by was 'FAME', not sure why, just as a standalone comment I thought it worked best

Although the full set on the wall together would look very cool I reckon

Yeah, I think they are really nice pieces I was surprised they were not more popular when they were released.

Theres been a few of Ben's prints that thats happened to tho, remember Bring The Noise? hung around for ages, i always thought it was a great print.....

I really like these. Do not have them but think they are a nice and different piece by him.

Never seen a canvass version does anyone know if they were done on canvass

That canvas is much more compelling than the washed out pastel colors i have seen on prints. are there prints in a darker color variation like this ?
